TANDEM PARAGLIDING AT NANDI HILLS

My First tandem Paragliding With Naren At Nandi Hill . A wonderful High altitude joyride all around the nandi hills for an hour

It was on August 15 2007 I did my first tandem paragliding with Naren . I reached Bangalore By Saturday morning. I moved to Narens house and took rest for some time. By 7 We started to Nandi Hill. It was a big team. Naren , Tara, Moothy, Pooja and More.

Naren had a tricolor indian flag with him. After trekking to the top of nandi 1 . Nandi 1 is a hill in the Nandi Durga Group of hills, which doesnt have roads till top. You have to halt your vehicles at Curve 20 and then trek to the top of the Hill and takes around 20 minutes to reach.

We hoisted the national flag and stood attention for a minute.

Slowly the mist and clouds began to disappear and it became favourable to fly. We opened our paragliding bags. set 1 ..2..3  I was in the Air. That was aswome. We were soaring over the hills for more than an hour and finally we came back to the top of the hill.
