Kovai Kutralam is an important tourist place of Coimbatore. The Kovai Kutralam waterfalls are located in the Siruvani Hills. The Siruvani River, which flows in the Siruvani Hills, which makes the famous Kovai Kutralam waterfalls. It is situated in the dark forest area of the outer part of Coimbatore. The way to the falls is surrounded by thick forests, and teak gardens. Enjoying the beauty and the cold climate of the smoky water falling through the rough rocks and the green forests of Kovai Kuttralam is a pleasant experience.

HOW TO REACH KOVAIKUTRALAM FROM COIMBATORE
Kovai Kutralam is a waterfall at Siruvani. It is 37 km from Coimbatore towards west and is quite magnificent. This fall is amidst a thick forest, hence visitors are not allowed after 5 pm. Siruvani the source of drinking water supply to Coimbatore. From Coimbatore you have to move along the Perur Road. You can enter into the Perur road from Ukdam very easily (All roads lead to Perur- It is like that at Ukadam). You have to move along this road for about 30 Kilometers and you will cros the towns like Perur, Puluvapatty, Karunya Etc. The huge city towers will disappear and you will be moving along a valley bounded by thick green vegitation on each sides. After that you will find a checkpost in frount of you. If yo go straight, it will lead to Survani Dam and Moving left throught a thick teak plantations for 4 kilometers and crossing another Checkpost and the waterfall office, will lead you to Kovaikutralam Waterfalls.
